Great Impasta Danville Ca

Great Impasta

Located in the beautiful Danville Livery the Great  Impasta conquers up images of a real Italian Trattoria !  Absolutely beautiful quaint setting with indoor and ourdoor seating.  Perfectly prepared al dente pasta accompanied by delicate and flavorful sauces.  One of their specialties is the variety of options, pastas and sauces exactly as you wish.  For those craving a light lunch check out their chicken Caesar Salads one of the best.

Megan and everyone else in Danville loves Great Impasta, we think you will to.

Love, love, love the pasta here.  I try different combinations of sauces with different pastas (the husband always has the cheese tortellini with four cheese sauce), and while I like some sauces more than others (they're all good), the past is really what you come here for.  Definitely fresh, and such a wonderful delicate taste.  Love that you get coupons regularly too.

Leo's Chinese Restaurant Danville

Leo’s Chinese Restaurant

Located in the Danville Town and Country center Leo’s brings an unassuming, unpretentious offering of great Chinese dishes to Danville.  All food is prepared just right, all priced right served by a very friendly and courteous staff.

Everyone like Ed from Danville loves Leo‘s Chinese Restaurant

We love Leo's.  It is the only place in town for good chinese food.  We used to eat here when it was De Mings and that was good - since it became Leo's it is VERY good.

It is a simple place with a simple decor that you would expect in a chinese restaurant.  The servers are the husband and wife that own it and they are very, very nice.

We have never had a bad meal here and everything has been fresh and delicious.  We are a bit picky about our chinese food as my wife has personally owned and operated three of them.

Upon graduating, he shared his culinary talents at several hotels and restaurants including The Stonehedge Inn, The Bedford Village Inn, Main Street Bistro, and most recently, Joe’s American Bar & Grill. Over the years, Chef Jason’s style has transformed New American cuisine with French influences. Now at Blackhawk Grille, he challenges himself to push the limits on creativity and create new menu items for his guests. When asked his favorite thing about cooking, he states it simply, "I enjoy how no day is ever the same. Things always change: seasons, products, and trends."

Lotsa Pasta Faster Italian Food Danville

Five out of Five Stars !

I have noticed a lot of mixed reviews regarding this restaurant and am quite confused. This is my GO TO pasta place! The meat sauce is authentic (granted if you have not yet had AUTHENTIC Italian meat sauce and are used to the traditional sauces at the Olive Garden, then I get it, this probably wasn't the sauce you were expecting) - with that said, if you can appreciate an authentic made-from-scratch Italian meat sauce with your pasta then look no further! Added bonus, their garlic bread.

Watch out of this Hugo Boss Jacket

Watch out for this Hugo Boss jacket

This man’s gray mix check suit jacket made of 100% wool.  This care label states that it can be dry cleaned.  What is happening is that the fusible interfacing on the jacket fronts separate causing the shell fabric to pucker and lie unevenly in these areas.  If this happens to your garment let us know and we can help you replace the jacket.

Moths do not eat Clothes but Caterpillars do !

This is an expansion of our,” what’s in your pocket” and “your clothes matter” article.

Believe it or not this little guy here actually came off someone’s clothes today.  I am not sure if he was a butterfly or moth, however, if he was a caterpillar of a moth this could not have turned our well for these clothes.

The interesting thing here is that most people blame the moth for eating holes through all of their finest garments made of, wool, cashmere, silk, angora, fur, all animal fibers that contain keratin. However, moths do not have mouths, they only have a mouth in their larvae stage or this little caterpillar guy.

So, make sure to clean your clothes before putting them into storage.

What you wear does matter

Your Clothes Matter

The way you dress does matter, in fact it matters a lot.  Just look at James, always impeccably dressed no matter what the occasion!

Casual wear, Business wear, Formal wear, no matter what the surroundings and circumstances, you never get a second chance to make a fist good impression.

How can you help ?

Stains and soils left too long can be impossible to remove.  Studies from the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute show that after aging only 1 week, 20% of stains cannot be removed satisfactorily.  After 3 weeks this increases to 47%.  If staining occurs bring it to us as soon as possible.

Do not press stained or soiled clothes.  Heat is another factor that makes stains more difficult to remove.

Please point our spills such as those from white wine, fruit juices, soft drinks or other stains that may not be visible, when you give us your cleaning.  These invisible stains require special attention by us in order to prevent them from permanently discoloring your garment.

Perspiration can cause dyes in fabrics to change color so, if possible, protect your garments from excessive contact with perspiration.

Always allow lotions, antiperspirants, perfume, etc. to dry before you get dressed.  These products can contain ingredients that cause color loss or color change in your garment.

Protect your garments from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or strong artificial lights.  This too can affect the color in your clothes.

Before putting clothing away for storage, have them cleaned to remove stains first.  This prevents insects from causing holes in the fabric and stains from aging and discoloring.

Clean all matching pieces together.

Whether your work surroundings call for wardrobe befitting James Bond, appropriate casual, formal wear or traditional attire, we know how you look does matter.  That is just one of the reasons we work hard for you and all that you wear.

Please find out more by visiting us at:  http://www.martinizngdelivery.com, email at: info@martinzingdelivery.com or call us at 925.362.9100.  Thank you.

Restore and Preserve your Wedding Gown

Anatomy of a Perfectly Cleaned and Preserved Wedding Gown

Yes, most dry cleaners will have a relatively acceptable dry cleaning machine of one sort or another.  Unfortunately, the science of dry cleaning is not as simple as throwing clothes in a machine and punching some buttons that the rep told you and have good results come out of the machine.

I just wanted to share a little of our story that really illustrates this.  Even with this outline there are countless years of experience between each line of text in order to ensure a perfect quality Gown.

We have a special wet cleaning process we use in order to produce a perfect  gleaming gown, cleaned safely and effectively 100% of the time. We examine the Gown thoroughly and identify any tears and rips that may be present and then make all necessary repairs to the Gown.  We then prepare the gown for cleaning by pre-treating the hem line and all stains.  We have a very high tech method and solution to accomplish this, because with our care wedding gowns will not receive as much mechanical action as normal garments.  We are trying to remove 100% of the staining and spots prior to cleaning.  We then remove all ornamentation from the gown that might be damaged in the cleaning process.  Then we turn the gown inside out and fastened it to itself, so that it will not come undone and place the Gown inside a special mesh net bag so that nothing can come into contact with the outer gown except for cleaning solution. We then bring up a full level of water in our wet clean machine and begin to batch the water to include, sizing, softener and cleaning solution into a precise 105 degree water temperature. We never let untreated water come into contact with the gown at any time.   We then run a specialized program for 30 minutes.  The gown is then gently rocked back and forth  for 20 seconds and then allowed to soak for 3 minutes.  This process is continued for the full 30 minute program. The machine is drained after 30 minutes and fresh sizing is injected and a slow speed solution extract is performed.  The extraction process is very critical and is precisely controlled to ensure the safety of the Gown. The Gown is then removed and turned right side out and then the gown is sized.  All ornamentation is then sewn back onto the Gown and special moisture sensors are attached to the Gown. The Gown with it’s sensor’s are then dried in a humidity controlled environment until there is a 20% moisture content remaining in the Gown.  We then take the Gown to our steaming and pressing station where the gown is steamed out to relax and press the fabric into the Gowns final phase to make for a perfect finish.  The Gown is then fitted to a bust form and placed inside a specially designed and constructed box.  The box is made from special materials that will prevent the fabric from changing colors and ensure it’s long term storage.  We then vacuum extract 100% of all of the air inside of the box and fill the box with pure nitrogen.  The box is then sealed for long term museum quality preservation.

All of our staff care is committed to being the best, most reliable dry cleaners you will ever use.  To find out more visit us at www.martinizngdelivery.com or email us at info@martinizingdelivery.com.    Thank you.

Getting Mysterious holes in Oxford and different dress shirts

Before you declare war on some unknown mystery insect that likes cotton take a minute to read this. This may save you a lot of money and aggravation pursuing a mystery bug that may not exist.
From time to time we see small pinholes or broken yarn areas with the yarn frayed outward as if it was pushed from the backside to the front. This can show up in random areas around the garment. In blue oxford, it may appear as white spots where the thin blue yarns are missing and the thicker white yarns remain.

Oxford cloth is woven with two very thin warp yarn over one much thicker filler yarn. This is a very popular fabric, but the unbalance of the weave construction causes a lot of strain on the thin warp yarns. Normal stress and abrasion in wear can weaken these yarns. As the garment ages the mechanical action involved in any type of cleaning can cause the already weakened thin yarns to fray or break.

The unfortunate thing is that the owner of the shirt or the person laundering the shirt cannot prevent this type of damage. The unbalanced weave is a natural characteristic of oxford cloth. However, some manufacturers can use heavier or higher twist-warp yarns that may prolong the life of the garment.
In relatively new garments, the manufacturer must be held responsible, since the damage is due to the weave and strength of the cloth.

Unfortunately, in this instance there is no happy ending, however, a once of knowledge can save you a whole lot of aggravation.

Don’t forget to check us out for your dry cleaning in Danville, CA.
