Moths do not eat Clothes but Caterpillars do !

This is an expansion of our,” what’s in your pocket” and “your clothes matter” article.

Believe it or not this little guy here actually came off someone’s clothes today.  I am not sure if he was a butterfly or moth, however, if he was a caterpillar of a moth this could not have turned our well for these clothes.

The interesting thing here is that most people blame the moth for eating holes through all of their finest garments made of, wool, cashmere, silk, angora, fur, all animal fibers that contain keratin. However, moths do not have mouths, they only have a mouth in their larvae stage or this little caterpillar guy.

So, make sure to clean your clothes before putting them into storage.
